Wild Stone is proud to share that one of its recent renovation projects—a restored Italianate brownstone in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn—has been featured on Max Channel’s popular series Diary Of An Old Home.

The episode, titled “Italianate Brownstone”, offers an inside look at the transformation of a 19th-century townhouse, brought back to life with Wild Stone’s expert construction and restoration work. Collaborating closely with the homeowners and design team, Wild Stone executed a renovation that honors the home's historic character while meeting the demands of modern living.

“This project was all about respecting the past while building for the future,” said Nelson Wei, the President at Wild Stone. “We focused on preserving original details—like plaster moldings, the grand staircase, and wide-plank floors—while delivering a structurally sound, comfortable home for everyday life.”

Diary Of An Old Home celebrates homes with history and the people who care for them. Wild Stone’s feature showcases the often-unsung role of skilled builders in restoring charm and integrity to aging structures—especially in Brooklyn’s iconic brownstone neighborhoods.

Tune in to Max Channel to watch the full episode and see how Wild Stone brings old homes back to life—one detail at a time.
